About The Cook & Bakeware Store

The Cook & Bakeware Company is an independently-owned cookshop, opened in 1979. We are committed to giving you great service, quality and value.

Our staff take great pride in providing customer satisfaction, and are always available for advice and assistance.

At this stage it is only possible to offer you a small selection of our full product portfolio for online sale, but we are always happy to respond to any enquiry for products not yet available on our website.

Over time we have grown to occupy a major part of the fine Victorian building you can see to the right. During major restoration in 1988 we uncovered a Minton-tiled frieze running around the outside of our building, from which our previous logo was taken.

Cook & Bakeware - Dining Rooms

Breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea, The Dining Rooms, our fully-licensed in-store restaurant is the place to visit. You will find a peaceful atmosphere within our light, air-conditioned surroundings.
A full luncheon menu is available with daily specials and an extensive wine list.
All meals are freshly prepared and we are recommended within The Good Food Guide.
For that extra special occasion we also offer private function facilities. Bookings can be made throughout the week with Saturdays left open.
